Natasha and James’ London Jewish Wedding at Rosewood London

Bridal Fashion & Beauty Karen Cinnamon

A bespoke Suzanne Neville gown, a green and white chuppah and layered florals shaped Natasha and James’ celebration at Rosewood London.

Natasha and James’ London Jewish Wedding at Rosewood London

Natasha and James, Rosewood, London, UK

Natasha and James built their London Jewish wedding around details that felt personal: a Rosewood London setting they both loved, a bespoke Suzanne Neville gown and a forest inspired chuppah filled with green and white flowers. Their choices also show how a clear vision can guide a celebration across ceremony, design, music and photography.

A long friendship became a wedding

The couple had known each other since childhood, through James’s friendship with Natasha’s cousin. They were formally introduced while studying in Leeds: Natasha at the University of Leeds and James at Leeds College of Music. Their first date came two days later, at Old Trafford for Manchester United versus Arsenal. Both were passionate Arsenal supporters. Eight years after meeting, they married.

A hotel setting with a personal feel

Rosewood London was Natasha’s favourite venue, and the couple had long liked the atmosphere of a London hotel wedding. They described the Rosewood as “cool and classy,” with the elegance and sense of occasion they wanted. The choice reflects a useful planning principle: a venue can feel polished while still matching a couple’s own style, especially when they already have a strong connection to the space.

Natasha is an Assistant Producer at Sky Sports, and James is a Senior E-Commerce Manager at Universal Music Group. They worked with Uptown Events to bring their plans together. Lara, Natasha’s best friend, works with the planning team. Natasha knew what she wanted and described herself as particular about her preferences; Lara and the team helped turn those ideas into the finished day.

A custom dress shaped by changing ideas

Natasha’s gown was made bespoke with the team at Suzanne Neville. She began by considering the designer’s existing dresses, but found it difficult to settle on one direction. Lace or satin? Which style and shape? Rather than force a choice between options, she and the team drew inspiration from several designs and created a dress tailored to her. For anyone weighing different looks, her experience is a reminder that trying on varied styles can help clarify what feels right, even if the final answer is a custom design.

A green and white chuppah and layered flowers

Flowers by Miri created the chuppah Natasha had imagined: large, forest like and covered in green and white flowers. The same palette carried through the ceremony and reception. The couple’s standout ceremony moments included the Badeken on the aisle, their first sight of each other, the seven circles, “Im Eshkachech” and the smashing of the glass. They also had a traditional ketubah.

The floral plan used peonies, hydrangeas, roses and foliage. Natasha carried an all white peony bouquet, while the bridesmaids had smaller versions. White rose buttonholes completed the men’s flowers. Reception tables varied in design: some round tables featured trees decorated with flowers, while others had candelabras surrounded by blooms. Long tables were styled with flower runs in vases and candelabras. This mix gave the room several distinct arrangements while keeping the flowers and colours connected.

Music, photographs and the reception

Totem was the band, with James’s best friend Aryell, known as DJ Ari Houmous, playing a set during the evening. The music ranged from feel good songs and classics to house and pop. James, an accomplished guitar player, also performed a song with the band, adding a personal moment to the reception.

Photography was a priority for Natasha and James. They chose Rachel Takes Pictures for her editorial and candid style, and Denee Motion to film the day. Their choices underline a practical point for couples: consider which parts of the celebration you most want to remember, then look for a photographer or videographer whose work captures those moments in a way you enjoy.

Eat Me Events handled the food and cake. The couple’s vendor list also included Uptown Events for planning, Suzanne Neville for the gown, Gaby Goldring for hair, Natasha de Cazalet for makeup, Flowers by Miri for florals, and Totem and DJ Ari Houmous for music.

One piece of advice for the day

Natasha’s advice to couples is to take each moment as it comes. A wedding day can pass quickly, she said, so pause, step back and absorb what’s happening. For a celebration filled with personal choices and the people who helped bring them to life, making room to notice the day may be as meaningful as any planned detail.
